Updates of astronomy log for Friday 27 June, 2003:

Location:  40" 35' N, 74" 37' W
Time: 2042 hrs local
Notes: Scopes (spotting and main objectives) aligned polar. Autostar programmed but NOT yet aligned due to weather.  Unable to observe Jupiter due to heavy cloud cover in the west.  Winds from the west threaten to carry clouds eastward, possibly preventing observation of targets scheduled for 2206 hrs local.

Time: 2116 hrs local
Notes:  All observations scheduled for tonight are cancelled due to cloud cover.

Tonight's astronomy targets (weather permitting):

1. 2030 local, Jupiter, W +26 deg. alt.

2. 2206 local, M13 globular cluster, loc: Hercules, ESE, +76 deg. alt.
Ring Nebula M57, loc: Lyra, E, +49 deg. alt.
Dumbbell Nebula M27, loc: Vulpecia, E, +31 deg. alt.

3. 28 June, 2003 0215 local, Mars, SE +23 deg. alt.

I feel like Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars Episode 2 Attack of the Clones.  I have a crush on a gurl, I feel something stirring in me (probably either the dark side or indigestion), and I wanna kick some ass!

P.S.  Yes, I am a geek.
